Summer is the time of Scout camps and vacations. Someone in the family (not always the same someone) has been at various Scout camps more often than not this month. Then we took a family vacation to the North Shore of Lake Superior. There we did some hiking in state parks, as well as a couple of nights in Duluth's Canal Park district. Perhaps not surprisingly, there had not been as much writing done so far in August as I had hoped. And with the start of school, and the MN State Fair on the horizon, I think I'll have to wait until after Labor Day to really get back into the grind.
